Why won't Proclaim run after installing on Windows?

If you run Proclaim on Windows and the app doesn't start, please follow the steps below to ensure your system is up-to-date.

One thing to check in this case is that your .NET framework is intact and not corrupted in any way. If your .NET framework needs to be repaired, this can cause issues with Proclaim, including a crash on start up. Here are some tips to try and fix the problem.

The first step would be to try and repair your currently installed .NET. This can be done with the .NET Framework Repair Tool; simply install the tool and run it. After the tool finishing repairing any issues, reboot your computer, reinstall Proclaim and try to run it.

If the above step does not work, then another thing to try is to reinstall your .NET framework. You can either simply uninstall and reinstall the newest version of the .NET framework or use the .NET Framework Clean Up tool; both of these options are talked about in detail here in this article.

Note: The .NET framework is an essential part of your computer and should only be tampered with as a last resort. Before you try any of the steps above, make sure there aren't any other issues causing your problems with Proclaim
